The CR6115 is a controlled cycle ratchet crimp tool designed for crimping the Edge Connector contacts commonly used by radio manufacturers like Bendix King (Honeywell), Icom, Narco and many more.
This tool was previously known as P/N: 11-01-0203 and/or 63811-6600.
Common part numbers for the contacts are: 030-1046-XX, 030-1107-XX, 030-01046-00XX and 030-01107-00XX.
This style of crimp looks very similar to the Mate-N-Lok connectors used in strobe systems and for general wiring interconnects (small white plastic connectors) but it is different and should not be interchanged. Using the wrong crimp tool will make it harder to insert and remove the contacts, increase termination resistance, decrease life expectancy and reduce reliability. On some connectors it will cause the contacts to mis-align, making it difficult for the connector halves to mate (not what you want when your upside down under an instrument panel).
