UPDATE:  DUAL CONTROL HEADS NOW POSSIBLE.
This is perfect for tandem seat aircraft and many warbirds.  A single comm transceiver and a TC90 control head in both cockpits.  The cost is considerably less than a second comm, and both the instructor and student can see what frequency is in use.
 

The Trig TY92 VHF Comm is fully certified for Level 1 and 2 operation.  It is a small, lightweight, remote controlled option for installations where a conventional panel mount or rack mount comm just won't fit.

• Remote mounted transceiver, great for tight panels or where weight and balance is a concern.

• Nice sunlight readable display with wide viewing angle
• Suitable for 24-28V operation only
• Power output 16W. Ideal for high performance aircraft.  If you don't need the high power output, or have a 12V aircraft, consider the TY91 which is a 6W version that operates at either 12 or 24V
