Ross joined SPA in 1991 when he needed a break from running his own communications company.  He has also worked as Ground Crew on Sikorsky S64 Helicopters.

Marc served his avionics aprenticeship with Bruce at Motor Holdings (Now Flightline) in the 1980s.  He had a break from Avionics for a few years but is back now and has brought with him a wealth of experience from outside aviation.

Sandor Florian

Sandor has worked for SPA since the mid 90's.  In his homeland of Hungary he was responsible for the maintenance of a large RADAR system, this experience has given him a unique approach to problem solving that usually pays off.  Despite being a little hard to understand when he gets excited, he is a master on avionics repair and there isn't much he can't fix.

Vanessa Natera

Vanessa Joined SPA in 2022 as an avionics engineer.  She started her maintenance career in PNG and relocated to NZ in 2018 where she quickly proved her value in the helicopter customisation and component workshops of one of our competitors.  Their loss was our gain.

Ken Joined SPA in 2022 as an avionics engineer.  He has brought with him, neary 40 years of experience in avionics maintenance and helicopter customisation.

Evan is an aircraft engineer and an aviation enthusiast. He own's his own aircraft and holds a multitude of rating in both avionics and mechanical trades. When he's not fixing or flying aircraft, he's mucking about in the bush or climbing mountains. (obviously we need to work him harder)

Lloyd Gallacher

Lloyd Gallacher has been in the Avionics business since 1988 and has held many manager positions at some of South Africa’s major avionic companies and also owned his own Avionics company and did work as far as Kenya. Lloyd also holds three NZQA Level 6 Certificates for Aeronautical maintenance Engineering Radio, Electrical and Instruments. Lloyd has a vast amount of experience on a wide range of rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft.

Ben joined SPA in 2022 after completing the NMIT Aviation Diploma.  He's a fast learner and is not afraid to ask questions.  We think he will go a long way in this industry.
