Skyview SV-700 Display

The SkyView displays are the heart of the SkyView system, and contain the main control CPU, graphics processor, and terrain data-base. Both the 7" and 10" displays are identical in functionality, with the only difference being screen size.

ADAHRS Modules: ADAHRS stands for Air Data/Attitude/Heading Reference System.

Dynon Skyview ADAHRS Module

The SkyView ADAHRS module uses MEMS sensor technology to accurately measure inertial, magnetic, and air data. These provide the data necessary to drive the Artificial Horizon/Synthetic Vision, Airspeed, Altitude, Vertical Speed, Slip, Turn Rate, Angle of Attack, and Gyro-Stabilized Heading. Additionally, Outside Air Temperature is obtained from the SV-OAT-340 Sensor which is connected to the ADHARS Module.

EMS Module: The SV-EMS-220 Module provides the interface between a SkyView Display and the engine and aircraft sensors.

It allows the SkyView System to continuously monitor all power plant and aircraft systems in a highly automated manner. The EMS Module integrates up to 16 different types of gauges all in one highly compact design. Any parameter falling outside its predefined limits are automatically brought to the attention of the pilot for immediate remediation. Safety is enhanced two fold; first, by reducing the pilot's workload and secondly by early detection and notification of foreseen trouble.

Autopilot: Every Dynon autopilot can fly magnetic heading, GPS ground track, and horizontal NAV from any connected compatible radio or GPS. In addition to being able to hold altitude, the autopilot can fly to a new altitude and level off once it arrives. Additional standard features include emergency 180-degree turn capability, control wheel steering, and standard trim sensing and annunciation on all servos used on the pitch axis. And because Dynon’s autopilot is built on its best-selling EFIS systems, it can respect bank angle, airspeed, and G limitations too.

The existing Dynon servos used with the D10/D100 Series are be compatible with the SkyView System. There are seven wire leads on each Servo; five of them are used with the D10/D100 Series. SkyView will use all seven wires, with the extra two wires used to add a second network connection for redundancy.

SkyView SV-XPNDR-261 and SV-XPNDR-262 Mode-S Transponders: Integrated: Made for the SkyView System with control and annunciation appearing on the SkyView Display. The transponder module can be mounted anywhere in the airplane that is convenient.

Meets USA and Europe ADS-B Out Mandates: Note, full ADS-B Out compliance requires a TSO-C146A GPS (WAAS) to be connected. NOTE ON U.S. COMPLIANCE: Currently the FAA ADS-B requirements specify the higher power Class 1 transponder. For U.S. customers, we recommend only the Class 1 SV-XPNDR-261.
