South Pacific Avionics is now offering full Avionics Sales, Installations and Service on the South Island of New Zealand

 

South Pacific Avionics, the household name in avionics since 1991 now has expanded from the North Island onto the South Island.  Our new branch at Taieri Airfield in Mosgiel will service the lower half of the island. We

will also offer a mobile service on the South Island, so we could come to you. Conditions and additional charges will apply for this mobile service.

 

At this facility, we will offer Avionic Sales, Service and Installations for all your Avionic needs. We have ADS-B solutions and also cater for minor to major Avionic upgrades including Glass Cockpit upgrades.

The Dunedin, Taieri Airfield facility will be run by Lloyd Gallacher.  Lloyd has been in the Avionics business since 1988 and has held many manager positions at some of South Africa’s major avionic companies and also owned his own Avionics company and did work as far as Kenya. Lloyd also holds three NZQA Level 6 Certificates for Aeronautical Maintenance Engineering Radio, Electrical and Instruments. Lloyd has a vast amount of experience on a wide range of rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft and has already made a name for himself in the greater Otago region.

Assisting Lloyd, we have Brent Weber who started his career in 2004 as an apprentice at an airline and has worked for many large aviation companies including working for Lloyd for a couple of years. Brent has experience on a wide

range of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft including business jets and narrow bodied passenger aircraft.

Assisting on the business development side of the South Island branches, looking at other regional possibilities within New Zealand and abroad will be Philip Hutchings. Phil, who will be based in Auckland, has been in aviation for over 35 years, which includes 17 years in the South African Air Force, 10 of those years in the Test Flight fraternity, many years in the airline industry on heavy maintenance and ramp, now has been part of the GA industry of New Zealand for the last 12 years, will be available for all your sales and technical enquiries.  If you want to see an SPA branch established near you, please talk to Phil, he wants to hear from you.
