NAV, Comm and Audio System Inspection

This includes a performance and accuracy assessment of:

 

Navigation receivers (VOR, ILS, GPS, ADF and MB) + all their associated indicators.  

Comm Transcievers (VHF AM and HF SSB)

Audio Selector Panel + Intercom Systems

It also includes a review of the aircrafts documentation and an inspection of all the racks, wiring antenna systems and power systems.

 

Usually this inspection is carried out every 2 years coinciding with other avionics inspections (Transponder, Altimeter, ELT etc)

 

The cost will vary depending on the number and complexity of installed systems.  It's a good idea to book a couple of weeks in advance and let us know what type of systems are installed so we can allow sufficient time and manpower to ensure you can leave on time.

 

A typical VFR 4 seat aircraft will take about 1 hour and cost around NZ$100.00 + GST

 

We can do this work at your hangar if you prefer, but there will be a charge for travelling.
