Airworthiness Directive DCA/RAD/43 XPDR Mode S Address
This AD is applicable to all aircraft equipped with a Mode S Transponder. This also applies to ADS-B transponders (these use Mode S-ES).
It requires checking and programming of the aircrafts 24 Bit Mode S Code into the mode S transponder.
The method of programming depends on the model of transponder installed, most are quite simple and can be done without removing the transponder. The unique code for your aircraft is available from the Aircraft Register on the CAA web site.
